New Album Finished

I'm so happy to say that the new album is finished after long last. I have been working very hard over the past few months and am looking forward to getting the music out there. More details to follow soon, once a release date has been firmed up.

Hypersoul is all about the music. Founded by Garrett Cullen, who now works exclusively under the name, the band has evolved and devolved into what has always been a source for a uniquely intelligent styled pop, electronic sound.

Around 1991, as part of the band MusicBox, he and then partner, Jonathan Van Clute, performed various gigs around the SF Bay Area with some success. Although the band eventually ran out of steam, Garrett kept writing and producing.

In 1998 Garrett moved to Boston, MA, where the band Hypersoul began. He tried to pair up with many different singers to help parcel down the workload, but none of the partnerships gained any serious traction, and the result was for Garrett to do it all.

Now living in North Carolina, Garrett is keeping Hypersoul alive and well. Hypersoul's first album, Getaway, was released in 2008. The follow-up, Youtopia, was released in 2012, with The Who You Are releasing in 2016.
